I've picked 2,309 games total overall across 5+ different sports leagues, averaging out to be 4.86 picks a day for 475 days straight (1 year and 109 days).

2021-03-14 21:07:19 +0000 UTCyou're fine no worries, it all the research ive done I have yet to find the governemnt busting down sports bettors doors to prosecute them for betting on offshore accounts, its the other way around, the Feds tend to bust down the offshore websites themselves before going after the customers and like I said, if you are winning money here and there no biggy, but if you are literally making a living off of sports betting monthly and yearly, definitely pay your fair share of taxes because they will flag you after awhile. Coinbase allows you to link to your bank account and so you can deposit and withdraw straight into your account. It's all done online. Maybe watch some youtube videos on how to set up your coin base to get better acquainted with it

So technically it’s not illegal or legal, not sure how else to interpret it. So basically, as long as you pay your taxes on the money you make from the sports betting there should be no issues? In my state, sports gambling is illegal but the law only talks about brick and mortar buildings, it doesn't address the "internet cloud" and since Bovada isn't a physical brick and mortar building, it becomes a gray area. What I have gathered from looking into this is that it just comes down to paying your taxes. If you are making money hand over fist, Feds want their cut, so just pay your normal taxes on money earned and you should be fine. I doubt they will come after you if you are making a couple hundred here and there but if you start making 20K + a year and you don't pay uncle same his cut, you could be risking it at that point.
