I agree with "the fox" comment Jim made, but aside from that..... I really liked it. It makes Puck less saint-like, and more mortal, more mundane and normal. He feels hurt, and feels resentment, and is willing to do something about it...

I can't see how to edit comments, but if I may offer a small bit of criticism? I think you're going too heavy on 'the fox'. It seems slightly repetitive. I can almost see why people use 'the [word]' excessively in third person stories (The older man, the younger man, the boy, the cook, the admiral, the whatever) because consistent use of 'he' can confuse who the word is referring to, but in a first person viewpoint using 'the fox' instead of a simple, natural 'he' seems slightly awkward? It makes me think of the affliction some writers get where they find themselves unable to use or resistant to using 'said' and instead go for just about every single alternative purely to avoid using it. It's not necessarily bad in this case, but the excessive use of 'the fox' over these two parts has been slightly jarring, at least to me. In spite of that, it's your usual high-quality writing and it's easily as enjoyable as your other chapters. It really is nice to see a little more depth given to Puck, especially where a little dastardly plotting is concerned. c:

Ah, it's nice to see Puck getting an outing with somebody other than Ransom. I mean, I like Ransom, but it's sort of fun to see that mixed up a little.

I love how you've turned what could have been a short little romp between 2 needy men into something that has a deep meaning for both of them and gives an insight to their emotional states and a mutual respect while also providing us with some delicious smut. It's a nice reminder to us that Luther still has some deep running emotional bonds to his past and that Puck however much he's enjoying himself has his mind set on bringing in Randsome in the long run. It's a shame though that this feels much shorter then Shiva's little side escapade but i guess that they both had deeper psyche to dig into before both where comfortable getting to their intimacy.

Oh Puck.. You Devious little Fox :) And I know where this is leading to as well. I'm just glad that both Puck and Luther understand and accept the limitations of their encounter.. *Chuckles* Having read so much of Trejaan's stories I am starting to forget what your canon.. and his are. I didn't think that Luther has such issues with Mikhail re what he can and cannot do - nor with Amon either.

As always the storytelling is spectacular. I love the dialogue the descriptions and aww hell everything about the story. I am a little disappointed at how short it will be but thats just me being greedy ;P Keep up the great work! And now I'm going to go finish the last 3 chapters of Heretic.

I'm just going to keep commenting. Because I love these two together so goddamn much. First of all: Luther letting Puck take the lead!? Jaysus Second: Luther being genuinely IMPRESSED by Pucks mad skillz? Fuck yes. Third: I never want this story to end :P
