Another good chapter. The only thing with this new triumvirate is that Raja and Kadar seem too similar. Raja is sort of like what Kadar used to be, potentially what he might have been if he ever met Ahsan and Lochan. Additionally, Raja felt more...regal? in the beginning, almost like the unofficial regent of the people. But in this chapter he seems more thuggish and unrefined. I'm sure more will be revealed in the future, but so far the old and current Raja feel like two different characters. The dialogue between Ahsan and Kadar feels natural, but between Kadar and Raja, it can feel a bit forced, considering how solid dialogues have been so far. I'm looking forward to seeing what new dynamic Lavanya adds!

I'm beginning to wonder how much longer we've got to go before it's the end of book 1, because I don't want it to end! XD

Raja as a male prostitute :) Very glad that Kadar is starting to sort out his feelings to Ashen - he's been totally blind to Ashen's love for a while now. Great Chapter..
