Kindred - Chapter 13 Part 1

I honestly have no idea how well-received the world-building in this chapter is gonna be. Hope it doesn't come off as melodramatic.

I read 13 chapters in two days and now I'm like >,> 'now what.' I'm loving the characters, the story, and the worldbuilding. I'm hooked and eagerly waiting for more. Tulimak is adorable and I would fight for him. I'm also really liking Takoda.
