Kindred - Up Through Chapter 25 (Part 1)
Added 2020-05-12 00:46:06 +0000 UTCI've been doing an overall edit of the manuscript, and this file has a lot of pretty serious edits in it, including new dialogue and added pieces in a LOT of chapters. I'm obviously not asking you all to re-read, but in case anyone wants to, I wanted to make this available.
Also, the first part of Chapter 25, 'The Canal Street Riot', is included in this version of the manuscript. So, new stuff too.
We're getting pretty close to the end here. One more chapter after this, and then an Epilogue. It's been quite a journey, and it's been wonderful to have you all along for it! Your beta reading has been irreplaceable, and your enthusiasm has kept me going. Can't overstate that.
I've begun referring to this story as a Love Letter to my fans, whenever I talk to my friends about it. Not just because I'm hoping it'll be loved by you all, but because part of how I crafted the story was to show MY love to you all, and tell you the kind of story I think you all deserve, as opposed to just a story that. . . emerged from me, if that makes sense.
I dunno. That was a weird rant. Anyway!

The setup in this one is real. Also, how I felt when the name of Grant was revealed: https://youtu.be/oC-BoD5XbpY It’s refreshing to see a familiar face sometimes but it’s also painful when that ONE character is introduced in a prequel.

I want to trust that you won't let Finn die after coming so far, but after Legacy i'm not sure i can. So it's going to be nerve wrecking until the end. Nice to see little Grant already being that brave uncorruptable soul he ends up being in OTBP and another way that you've helped root this story within a universe a lot of us have come to love ( and sometimes hate ).

Him and Tuli have been through so much itd be painful for me to know that that would happen. This is how good of a writer you are rukis. Seriously don’t ever quit and don’t ever think you’re not good, cuz the truth is you’re the greatest. You make compelling story arcs and great characters. 11/10 can’t wait for what happens next. I’m itching for the next story post and ending.
