'The Beach'
Added 2019-05-01 04:18:14 +0000 UTCThis is a special double-length story that was meant to be in two parts, but we got absolutely swamped with work for 'Red Lantern - Conviction' this past month, so I only finished it recently. Finished editing it tonight, even!
This is a story recounting the missing scene from the beach scene between Amon and Luther in Conviction. It's a different style for me, more of an inner monologue on Luther's part. I hope you'll all enjoy it.
It contains adult content, and discussions of the usual serious themes in Red Lantern - war, slavery, death, etc.
Really enjoyed writing this one. It's a scene I've always wanted to expand on.

2020-02-04 18:46:48 +0000 UTCLoved this little story. I really like Luther as a character. He's a caring man who seems to give any man a chance despite their falls and has genuine compassion for them. I hope he is able to rescue Among from slavery . can't wait to see what happens in the comic

2019-05-15 13:06:12 +0000 UTCMasterfully written and truly beautiful. I've always appreciated how Luther describes smells of others as scent is a part of life and something that helps me to remember. Likewise, I've always loved Amon as we share some things in common all be it small put still he helps me to cope and likewise anything I know about him from the way he smells to the way he tastes, makes him feel that much more lifelike to me. I also of course appreciate that Luther has started to be honest about his feelings for Amon, now only if Amon feels the same and will open up also it would definitely make this relationship all the more worthwhile. In the end though it is my upmost wish for Amon to just live his life as he chooses and find some happiness in it. Perhaps gain the knowledge that his father via Ahsan and most importantly that even though the world has been cruel to him throughout his life others have sought him, loved him and wanted him in their life.

2019-05-01 06:23:38 +0000 UTCBeautiful. I have thought of the same reasons as Luther re giving Amon his freedom aboard the ship. I only hope they both work out a way. Eagerly awaiting the next comic and the fate of Amon. Will he sleep on until lost.. or will he awaken.
