Kindred - Edited Chapters 1-2
Added 2019-09-03 08:16:26 +0000 UTCSo sorry for the long wait on story submissions. But the good news is, this is officially going to be a novel, and I think I've got the bones of it worked out now. I've been throwing together an outline all month and I really wanted to make sure I knew where I was going before I started throwing chapters out to the wolves (that'd be you guys ;) I'll be putting out chapters here and only here for the foreseeable future. To access them you will need 'The Full Story' tier unlocked.
This story takes place in on the Carvecian continent in the Red Lantern setting (the same area of the world where Off the Beaten Path was set). Without spoiling anything, it features a bear and a wolf/dog making their way across the frontier towards the more populated areas of the young country of Carvecia, facing hardships both external and internal along the way. It will contain many of the adult themes you've seen in my other work, including violence and sexual situations. I will eventually post art for it here as well.
I know that for a long time I've released my novels on FA for free, and I do still intend to do that, in time. I hope there won't be too much animosity over the fact that I'm delaying the release there. My writing has been pretty amateur for awhile now and that's why I released it for free, but since I've put the work in to improve my craft, I'm hoping to make it more a part of my paid career in the future. This novel is my first attempt at that. I really appreciate all of you who pledge here, and for those of you who pledge for the story tier - I know most of you are here for the art, and I'm so happy you're giving me the benefit of the doubt on this second passion of mine.
