Red Lantern - Sacrifice (Book 3) Script

This month's story submission is going to be a little unusual, but I'm hoping it'll be an exciting surprise for many of you.  I'm getting back into work on Red Lantern, specifically Book 3, 'Sacrifice'.  This has meant, since it's been literally 6 years since I last touched it, a complete re-tooling of the script.  Including adding a few new scenes.

This is a rare peek at the upcoming scenes in book 3, beginning at the beginning, of course.  It covers about 1/4 of the graphic novel.  These are the bones I base my story-boarding on.  The script format is my own, I do not follow specific film or television script formats (oh god, flashbacks to college, ugh).  

A quick FAQ -

Is the dialogue and scene direction absolutely final? - No, not at all.  This is a guide, and while much of the dialogue WILL make it into the final comic, I edit and make changes as I go.  What's more, just like with Kindred, I'm open to critiques here.

Is the page count final? - Again, not in the least.  Scenes/dialogue often get shifted as I storyboard, and I usually go over, not under.

When will the first page come out???  It's been long enough already! - I knooowwww.  I'm so sorry for the wait folks, I've been working on catching up on commissions and menagerie images, which I really have to prioritize.  I'm hoping to post another round of WIPs, this time with characters, this week.  I hope the script will hold you all in the mean time.  The nice thing about having the backgrounds ready to go, and my process of working on RL these days in general, is that it's like a staircase.  Once a set of assets is done, or a block of linework is done for a few pages, things progress very quickly.  It's just getting that work done at the outset that takes a while.
