Holiday Gifts for my Gaming Group - MDZS OCs
Added 2020-12-27 22:20:41 +0000 UTCThese were a side project I've been working on intermittently for the last month or so, my Mo Dao Zu Shi Champions/Hero Setting world gaming group. If that sounds like a mouthful, it is, I have no excuse. We home-brewed a Hero setting system in order to create Xianxia Cultivator hero characters. We're nerds.
These three characters belong to my players, who I won't name here. But they were all thrilled to get art of their characters for the holidays, and it was really nice to finally give art as a gift again, been a long time since I've done so.
This was a challenging style for me, while I've done some anime/donghua-inspired art in the past, it's. . . rare. And I wouldn't say most attempts have met with success. The tight lines and vibrant color palette are really outside my wheelhouse, and I won't lie, I struggled a ton with these.
I know they're not really on-brand for me, and that most of you aren't here for this, but I figured I'd share them anyway. They're unusual art for me and it was fun to stretch my skills.

Didn't know that you are into that gerne. Also if you like to draw this and want to also show some furry related things than I would suggest to draw some anthro yougai.
