Heheh admiral pirate! I saw him on the cover art. I was hoping “slouching guy with foot on the desk” would have a line or two.

Devon Weigt

This is honestly his introduction, so don't feel like you're behind. I have hinted at him a lot over the years but this is where he really first joins the story in a major way. However, I'd love it if you wanted to read any of my other books, so : ) You can find them all here - https://furplanet.com/shop/category.aspx?catid=272

Rukis

Well, I'd personally suggest reading every novel Rukis has made of Red Lantern universe, but especially larger novels, since they give alot of backstory to characters. For excample, Legacy (story about Amons father), Off the Beaten Path (story of Shivah, Graysons "woman on board" and her friends) and Kindred (Tulimak and Finnegan Ambrose). Main stories help a little bit to see some characters with new eyes and connect some hidden dots together. Also, Cross was mentioned little bit in a Kindred and I belie e short story called Lifeline, but nothing critical (you should read Kindred first, then Kindred Epilogie and Lifeline). There are alot of short stories, mainly dubiously canon ones, what gives you some info about stories and characters, whether or not you choose to ignore the "adult act" parts. I also have good list of small stories and on what character they belong to and roughly what timeline. I have all of them collected from online (mostly here on patreon, some are on furaffinity), so if you need help, I can send you list of names etc. for you :)

Thanks! Besides Illicit Alliance and Heretic, what other works do I need to read to be caught up for Red Lantern - Sacrifice?

Vegetaategev

That's Admiral Cross. He was briefly mentioned in Heretic. But hasn't appeared again until now. (long story short: He was a friend of Lord Lucius (Luther's Father-in-Law) and when Luther joined the fleet, they spent the first 4 years helping him hunt pirates in the south seas. So they're old acquaintances (Cross is too curmudgeony to actually have friends). ;)

Trejaan Cavelion

I feel like I should know who that eyepatched canine is. What stories did I miss? Where can I read them?

Vegetaategev

Awesome little surprise to find waiting here! Great work, Rukis!

Governmental nonsense and Delilah Denholme, I love it! So freaking excited to see more of this lively gal. And of course… Eyepatch guy has a point.

J. T. Rador

great fantastic work as usual, and I sure agree with the "Eyepatch".

Karmakat

Outstanding, as usual. Safe travels and have fun at MWFF!
