Awesome Kylin!! Autocorrect wants to change your name to Kylie. First time I've seen that. I just updated to the new Apple OS. That was great! It's hard enough teaching yourself but then singing and playing at the same time shows incredible talent. I can only imagine what you would do with a really good teacher. Not all teachers are good though. Many just teach mechanically, and through your own practice and repetition. But having had both, I found a lot of value in a teacher who understands and explains well music theory with the piano. There are some great YouTube channels that provide that better than many teachers could ever give you that background. It gives you a sense of what notes generally go together, there are not that many, into chords and arrangements. What chords go with certain kinds of music and songs and why many songs use a very small set of chords. With that kind of knowledge and reenforcement, it gives you the ability to potentially write, and to perhaps play along with almost any song you might want to sing, if you know the key and chords, maybe not as it was written. Wishing you success in your musical exploration and journey! ❤️

As you keep practicing, you will keep getting more relaxed at playing and everything will go more and more fluently. Ohhhhh wow 😀😀 now this is what I'm talking about 💙💙 I've been telling you how talented you really are and here you are after only one month, big hug, now I don't know much about the piano as I play guitar but the subtleties on the notes are still the same 🎶 and this will all come to fruition in time 🎹🎵 and my policy is, practice, practice, practice not because you have to but because you want to, fall in love with the instrument, music, song and lyrics and it'll all become one, I love your voice cause you have great tone 🎤🎶💙 and tone, depth and control of breathing whilst in song is everything IMO, study other singers and musicians to get inspiration and ideas not to emulate but rather become your own artist, if all this makes sense to you😀😀 music is embedded in your soul and dna I am sure off this, only one month, wow 💙💙 how good are you going to be ?? only time will tell, I for one am ticking all the boxes, as I've said before and I'll say it again you are very talented and I believe in you, Gee this post has made my day 😊😊🎶🎤🎹💙💙💙💙

This is just a month’s worth of practice?? Wow, and so beautiful! Ok, so, critique time? I’ll be thorough, but take whatever you feel is appropriate! 1. To begin with, it is amazing that you’ve come this far after only a month and learning all or mostly by yourself! You are way further along than a lot of musicians I’ve known from childhood were with that amount of practice. Seriously, that is a show of incredible promise! 2. The concept for the song is good, not amazing but it is solid! And even though the lyricism is a little clunky, I feel like you have good bones in the song. I would say, work on pruning and shaping the lyrics into a tighter, more streamlined package… if that makes sense… 3. Your voice is beautiful, so soothing and clear, and you’ve got a lot of the right ideas on what to do with it! I’d say that, to build on it, work on your range a bit and really focus on nailing specific notes on demand. If you don’t already know, ask another musician what your natural range is, and then really work hard on strengthening and honing that. 4. Finally, the piano work is honestly surprisingly sound for someone who has only been self-teaching for a month! My only critique is drill drill drill! You want your hands and fingers to move without having to think at all! That way you can focus on flexing your vocal talent! I love you to absolute bits, and you always surprise me with your talent! Remember though, even natural talent needs attentive, nurturing care if you want it to grow into something spectacular. You have the roots for it, though, and I’m anticipating you reaching phenomenal heights! 😘
