We don't have Thanksgiving in the UK. But here too Christmas is starting earlier and earlier. Christmas lights, shops already selling Turkeys. Turkey for Christmas is traditional here. Oh yes nice photos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thanks pizza looked good as well 🤣🍕

As far as Christmas, they actually put up Christmas lights near where I live even before Halloween. I think that they also have started sales earlier and earlier every year so Black Friday sales no longer start the day after Thanksgiving. I imagine they started playing Christmas music too already.

Well, it has been happening for years and for some folks it is clearly a big event. Not everyone needs to participate. That’s the great thing about being free to observe religion and cultural events as each person and family prefers. I have relatives who were married into the Eastern Orthodox Christmas which is later than most western churches. They have always celebrated Christmas differently, as a matter of their faith. They celebrate Christmas on January 7th. And as for Mariah, clearly there are commercial interests, but celebrities can have a big impact, especially in the era of social media. And there was even a time when “Black Friday” was NOT a thing.
