I would like to address a recent topic of discussion about the amount/lack of content we posted this month. Admittedly the week we drove for 4 days to California (without wifi) and last Monday for a personal circumstance that I can’t talk about, we still posted although it was brought to my attention that we only posted 15 instead of the nearly 30 we usually post. Keep in mind that we used to regularly post only 10-15 in the years past as this is industry standard. It was really this year that we increase

As far as the music videos, this is also a unique feature we try to do for every set but there are times where we don’t post a music video. Sometimes but rarely in our haste we forget to record one especially if the photo shoot was rushed, or in the cold, or late in the day or in a public location or we simply forget. Of course this doesn’t happen very often but it does happen at times. Please remember that these music videos was an added bonus that Kylin and I thought would be nice to do in addition to the photo sets so it is considered an added bonus that I’m not aware others do.

In all the years we have been posting on Patreon and our own website, I think we have taken only 3 days off in 3 years due to extreme extenuating circumstances. We also have always posted every holiday including Christmas and Thanksgiving even though every other business closes as we do not want any of our members to feel alone on those days. We have never taken a sick day, and just yesterday on Christmas Kylin and I spent most of the day into the evening shooting content in preparation for our long drive back to Florida. I can’t remember the last time we have gone on a vacation, had a week off or even had 2 days off in a row. I only say this to please ask for your understanding when/if we don’t meet your expectations on a certain posting day.

Rest assured that when we move posting days around, it is always moved/traded for our day off so to date aside from the 3 days in the last three years, we have never actually skipped a day of posting.

We would also like to ask you for your understanding and empathy especially this month. We still managed to post while we drove for 4 days without wifi driving from Florida to California. I, mom Jane came back to sell the house but this has required me to live in the garage (I have a heated blanket and Sandy the cat lady was kind to lend me a mattress and desk/chair while I try to sell the house). Unfortunately I cannot have a mattress and a folding table sitting in a room in the house as that would look odd in an empty house during showings. At a moments notice we have had to leave the house for long periods of time for showings and for open houses. Of course this makes posting a challenge.

Other events that has happened in December that has made posting more challenging was Celebrating Kylins birthday, I gave her the day off but not really because we just traded that day for our day off, we don’t publicly share her actual birthday day date and keep a lot of our private life private mostly for safety because we do have people that watch our every move and have had threats made against us and our safety.

Also PLEASE PLEASE keep in mind that Kylin is still a teenager and so she has those days where she might not be feeling her best, either physically or emotionally. Imagine having to do a photo set when your not feeling good.

Professionally Kylin spends hours and hours practicing behind the scenes that you don’t get to see because we aren’t able to talk about this yet. With this, comes last minute meetings that sometimes takes us away for most of the day. When this happens we always trade those days for our day off so you never miss a posting day.

There are some days that she might be feeling sad missing her friends, feeling isolated in another state not yet having made friends so she really cherishes her time back in California with her friends so there are times she comes home too late for me to attach/post a music video.

We don’t want you to feel bad for us or feel that we aren’t appreciative of you and your support, I felt that I needed to share with you some of the reasons that you might not be aware of that may affect a posting day.

With Kylins current expenses to support her career, we could not do this without your support. Patreon and Cameo is the only income source Kylin has ever had. We are just asking for a little extra understanding on a day where our content or the amount of content doesn’t meet your expectations.
