I think excusing Reynolds because he is 40 and a legend but criticizing a disabled skater is pretty weak in my opinion. I’m paraphrasing here but I think you said something like “it just isn’t our place to call out Reynolds”, but I think that applies much more heavily to Felipe. Think you got the wires crossed on that one.

I think a lot of the younger guys still party and stuff but it’s not as essential to Baker’s brand identity anymore. I do think though you’re right to say it’s still part of what Baker is, I guess to me it doesn’t seem like it’s front and center like it used to be

Like a simple 180 manual, or a fakie shuv it manual instead of a fakie tre manual.. His disposition doesn't make sense when you think about it... Do a difficult trick badly because he's too lazy to clean it up instead of doing a lower effort easier trick very well, and if he got the lower effort trick wrong it would take less energy to re do it multiple times..?

Younger skaters look up to him, and if they start seeing him scraping on manuals and taking the clips, then they'll likely start scraping on manuals also and thinking it's acceptable. This knock on effect degrades the culture slowly over time by lowering the standards.
