I could think of interesting topics though but that's not what I usually see. Stuff like social structure within our subculture, mental health and substance issues, changing aspects of skate videos, etc. Ted Barrow's 'This Old Ledge' series is kind of along these lines of infotainment but it's not short-form so it feels more genuine. I think conforming to short attention spans with tiktok/insta/yt just carries that feeling of cringe in itself somehow.

He sucked ass and was flipping out, swearing, smashing his board on the ground and acting like a complete baby. I was in a bad mood and eventually I just yelled at him “Hey, why don’t you shut the fuck up? Just because you suck and can’t land your tricks you’re screaming and ruining everyone else’s time.” He kinda couldn’t believe I said it and he’s like “oh yeah buddy I’d like to see you try” I’m all “What, you think I can’t Ollie up that, 180 up that then fakie flip off that? You’re acting like a complete bitch.” I totally got inside his head lol he tried a couple more times but didn’t freak out anymore, then he grabbed his bag and left lol but he returned lingering around muttering soft n bombs and threats at me as though we were both black 😂 All of it was in front of his friends, he was trying to film his dumb line. It was performative and he legitimately sucked, the more he stressed, the more he was eating shit and the more he couldn’t even land a flat ground trick on the side. I appreciated you covering this type of phenomenon with bbyyoshando lol
