They’ll even have little cardboard inserts to describe what these different shapes or technologies are.

They're not trying to persuade skaters into buying their boards with graphics, dumb collabs, "skate technology", or other marketing gimmicks. They seem to keep it "real" over there and let the super good am/pro skaters do the advertising/marketing for the brand. REAL is just serving us the "essentials" within skateboarding which are great product, great skating, and nothing unnecessary. I'm having a hard time explaining my thoughts, but you get the idea.
