I have a really easy job too, but when I start getting burned out I get more anxious and it makes it super tough to do anything, it all just feels daunting, like moving through quicksand in a sense - like it takes more effort to do get less work done. There's mad science on how taking a long break from work (1 week +) is really beneficial, and gives you a reset in a way that short breaks, like weekends, can't. Doesn't matter how easy the work is, burnout can happy to anyone and everyone feels better when they get a chance to refresh. Hope you get the chance to take a fat chunk of time to get away from work and just enjoy yourself.

But some people on there are saying the victim posted a lot of details. I think that a lot of times its just better to believe what is said and move on, it does not effect our lives to just ignore a single skater. I can't really see why someone would make this up, why go after a skater who is already towards the end of their career? Only solid things I saw were details were posted, victim was way too drunk to consent. Too much of this bullshit is going down in skating and I think we need to start being very suspicious of anyone who has the slightest whisper of allegations. Skating should not be a space where abusers can get away with it and feel safe.

If it gets monotonous for you, then yeah for sure do something else, but If you’re still enjoying it then keep doing it. The most entertaining vids we get out of you are most likely gonna be the things that you are genuinely interested in and having fun with. Also I think you underestimate how much we enjoy your off the cuff vids. Sometimes the easier vids that are more stream of consciousness/in the moment reactions are some of your best work. Take a vacay and try not to stress too much. Too much self awareness is bad for the bones 👍
