"Oh. Yeah... I remember you guys... can't believe it's been that long. Quite the gala, huh?"

"Weird to think that the lazy jokester of our grad turned out to be 'Outstanding Performance' nominee material."
"Tell me about it! There's just something I can't quite put my finger on. Your whole vibe's totally different for whatever reason."
"Who knows maybe something showed up that made him get his act together. Not too uncommon for guys to straighten up their acts when a chick gets involved"
"Ooooh! Are you seeing someone?"

"... I suppose... that I am... Could you make this quick? I have to hand this drink over. I'd rather not stay here any longer than I have to."

"Wait the cocktail isn't for you? So the other one- Is that fruit punch? You someone's designated driver or something?"
"But the drinks are on the house-"

"Yeah and I'd rather stay sober and avoid doing or saying something I might regret. Some of us enjoy our privacy. This event lasting longer than an single evening is already getting on my nerves. Having transport and the hotel paid is nice and all but I have places to be."

"Man. Must be quite the chick for you to get this straight laced and wanting back by your side this quickly."
