Updating scripts to work with the new Ren'Py 8.0 version.
Added 2022-07-18 09:52:34 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Just want to let you all know I'm working on updating all of the scripts of the tutorials to work with Ren'Py version 8.0.
As you may or may not know, this new version is using Python 3 instead of 2. With that, somethings has changed in many of my tutorials which has to be updated for their code to work correctly. You may see some weird hiccups as a result when you run the scripts.
But no worries, I'm going through each of them and update them as necessary. Might take a little while but I'm doing my best to get through them as fast as possible. Luckily enough, I don't have too many scripts up yet and the changes are usually minimal.
I've written comments on my tutorial videos, usually on the last part of each tutorial series where I explain what needs to be changed. So if you don't have access to all scripts (some are locked to paying patreons only), you can look at the comments section of the tutorials to see what needs to be changed for the script to work.
Otherwise, for those of you who are patreons in the tier Supporter or higher should have access to all scripts, and as I mentioned before, I'm going through them to update them. You will see comments at the bottom of each post containing the script for download, that they have been updated.
Just FYI, my free scripts are also being updated, not only the paid ones!
