No music this week. That's because I'm still a little peeved over the Patreon age-verification system. if you're not aware (and this isn't Patreon's fault), Mastercard, which is run by sex-hating weirdo's, hates that people enjoy sex. So, they routinely make it hard for those that do to make a living off it or enjoy it. They have now made it hard for Patreon, by demanding all creators show their faces and government ID to continue earning money.

Now. I'm a white male. I have so much privilege it leaks out. But, for the vulnerable in the trans and LGBTQ areas. For the women that rightfully are scared of giving their information out in an age of stalking. This is beyond the pale.

Of course, the inevitable data leak from the third party handling this stuff (I don't care how good they think they are, there will be a leak) will also cause untold damage to the above groups. For those reasons, I'm steaming mad.

Then, as one patreon post found (Sorry, don't have it handy) turns out this third party is taking my information to train their AI, which they can then sell to others. So, it's really a shitty sandwich we're being served this week.

As cliche as it is to say, if I didn't need the money....
