Friday Check-in and book announcement!
Added 2025-05-23 10:00:11 +0000 UTCYeah, that's right, I'm interrupting this music time to announce a new MIYM book. Now, you know me for spicy horror books, but how about something completely different? How about spicy comedy?
I haven't created the synopsis just yet but the elevator pitch? Lizzy is an overworked Nurse who is forced on a vacation to Blair's Bay, where she meets an older, Dominant bartender. We got slapstick, we got bratty energy, we got witty back-and-forth's, we got a lot of depraved but fun spicy times, we got a good time is what it is.
I'm announcing it here because while I don't have a release date yet, if anyone would like to be part of the ARC you can DM me (or email me at mastersinyourmind@gmail.com ) and we can discuss more.
Besides that, it's been a hectic but good week around here, I do work this weekend but shrugs what are you going to do. How about you all? What are we listening to, how are we doing?

I’m actually properly going out tonight for the first time in a while so I’m really looking forward to that. If there’s one thing I know about myself it’s that getting dolled up and going out dancing always greatly improves my mental wellbeing lol so I’m glad I made the time for this. 2025-05-23 19:41:58 +0000 UTCI, for one, cannot believe that it's already the end of May. This month was so busy for me, but the silver lining is that I now have a backlog of files to catch up on. (✿^‿^) Congratulations on the new book! I've been trying to cut down on my doomscrolling time by way of reading and it seems like a perfect addition to my reading list. On the music front, the change of the seasons (though spring has been extremely non-committal in my region) has me making my annual revisit of Cosmo Sheldrake's The Much Much How How and I.
