I think people don't really know how to relate to something of a scope like Star Wars, because other than, like, Sherlock Holmes or James Bond, we never really had a really long-running, culturally impactful fiction series to deal with. (The various Santa movies don't count.) Star Trek keeps going away and reinventing itself, and is more of a concept than a 'galaxy of characters' like Star Wars. Personally I think Star Wars was always about the characters and the action and the scenery, with a smattering of political themes to tie it all together. But it got serious with the novels, and then the prequels, and I think people do struggle to reconcile the serious themes with all the rampant goofiness and camp.

She said in BoBF that she doesn't believe that anyone that doesn't follow The Way is a real Mandalorian. This whole thing with her accepting Bo-Katan and gathering non-helmetted Mandos together? Bullshit and dirty work for Gideon, the one she considers the true wielder of the Darksaber. 2. She dipped out right before the ambush on Mandalore by a bunch of beskar clad troopers. Who made that armor for them? Why was her timing so convenient? 3. Din got pulled aside for "debriefing". Guaranteed that debriefing will include the Armorer walking out and revealing herself to be on Gideons side.
