I'm sorry, but QUIT GIVING THEM THE COVID EXCUSE for this episode!!!! I know that's their excuse, but it's absolute hogwash! There were several shows filming and in post, just like them, during the same time, highly visual shows like The Witcher and The Foundation, that never suffered in quality like this show did. I cannot accept this excuse! It may have been covid related, in a way, but not the way they want you to believe. It was absolute shit management, shit direction, and shit organization that resulted in this episode. Period. There were ways to deal with the covid hurdles, especially with the might of AMAZON backing them, but these people dropped the ball and let this episode flounder. It's their fault, not covid's! This show had a budget of $10M per episode, the same as season one of GoT's average. Yet it didn't nearly have the scope of the world GoT had. GoT had WAY more extras, cities/towns/castles felt lived in and fully populated. The White tower had like eight people in it, no bustling Novices, no groups of Accepted traveling about, nothing! The Tuantha'an had 20 people, Breen Spring had maybe 20 people, Fal Dara had 30, maybe. Their cavalry only had 10 horses and the army only 50 peeps. Where'd the money go? It certainly didn't go into the episodes, so how in the world did they not have enough money to cope with the covid situation? Anyone...anyone? You could argue they had great visuals, like Tar Valon, but there are YouTube yokels that can do that stuff in an evening with Unreal Engine 5, even better, I'd say. So even that doesn't warrant the costs. Ack...rant over.
