That IS his real nose. Canonically. He was so self conscious about it he themed his entire pirate crew after the circus so it wouldn't look out of place.

2023-11-10 04:07:32 +0000 UTCI feel like the "the show starts slow" opinion is mostly just a popular passed-around opinion online. I personally never felt like the show started slow. Early One Piece is my favorite. It does ramp up though. So maybe people feel like the beginning is slow compared to later on? Or maybe people feel like it's slow when the comedy isn't their style, and they're waiting for the action scenes.
