Speaking of filler... Ep. 54-60 is a non-canon filler arc. I like it as a small contained story with the straw hats however it isn't a part of the OP story and creates plot holes later on if not watched with that in mind. Since you have a long viewing journey and your watching at a pretty slow pace I would skip it but obviously up to you.
