Great Reaction. Nice seeing a new one piece fan and a non fan watch it. So much love put into the show. Only issues are missed content, but I just dont know HOW they could have fixed it, without a few more episodes of runtime. Overall, I think it was about the best the show could possibly have been done.

2025-02-08 22:52:51 +0000 UTCI agree that they did a good job establishing the crew, even if there wasn't as much individual character work for some of them as I would have hoped for...though, at the same time I know there wasn't enough runtime for that. I think they have enough material where in a few seasons, they'll get that development. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen this year, and one of the best adaptations I've seen in the past 20 years. Looking forward to season 2.

And as an old, grey-haired grumpy curmudgeon, I watched this damn thing with a smile plastered on my face the whole freakin' time. In terms of entertainment, fun, and sheer joy of great storytelling, this was the best show of the year -- by a mile. See you for Season 2.
