I am with you on the dub for this one it is amazing, honestly, I think anime dubs have improved significantly post-2011, I don't think it was taken very seriously before then, hearing something like One Piece in the early stuff was horrific, it completely put me off on both performance and translation (especially jokes that depended on Japanese puns) witch got me off of all dubs at the time, but modern stuff is very decent, I had a change of mind with Fullmetal Alchemist, and tested on Hunter X Hunter which I liked, now I make it a point to check both sub and dub for first episodes to see which one I like more, still more often than not I choose sub, Japanese voice actors and directors standards of operations are on a different level
