I love that, it's so fucking stupid, lol. It's like people arguing that THAT Star Wars is real Star Wars but THAT Star Wars is NOT Star Wars. That's what all religious discussions are

its not covered in the show, but i believe in a comic or other material its mentioned Angel Dust was in the mob or something? i don't think his going to hell had anything to do with sex or drugs, i think all of that started after he was in hell. i think the only nod to it in the show itself is his use of tommy guns.

The only other people I've seen get as caught up in how this show does not align with official Christian dogma as Nerdy have been religious fundamentalists who think this show is proof of how Hollywood is Satanist.

Oh shit, I used to have the shirt you're wearing, Nerdy. I think my boyfriend may have stolen it though cause I haven't seen it in a while LOL

"Charlie is trying to scuba dive without ever learning how to swim." puts it nicely.

Relevant to the discussion of what it takes to get into Heaven, I recommend "Relax, Enjoy Yourself" from Randy Newman's Faust.

Lucifer is also a Seraphim. It's the highest choir of angels. Emily and Sera are inventions of the show, but in biblical mythology the other Seraphim are Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Jeremiel, Raguel, Zerachiel and Remiel.
Fun fact: Welcome to Heaven had to be rerecorded multiple times because the guy who plays St. Peter was moaning way too much.

Nerdy's points about Angel Dust is why my theory is that the determining factor of whether a person goes to Heaven or Hell in this series is based on what they believe they deserve rather than some external moral authority.
