My biggest problem is the Elantrians make Dakhor look pathetic by comparison. Dakhor needs to sacrifice people to perform their powerful spells but Elantrians don't pay any price at all. It's too unbalanced and Dakhor just can't compete

I think the biggest issue is that while we have the Elantrians in our face the whole time, we never see them at full power until after Dakhor is already introduced. Once we see the Elantrians in action the monks stick out a lot less.
