Just popping in again. late. again... to tell you that real lightning strikes are on average **10 times more powerful than anything Enel/Eneru has pulled out thus far**, and many regular humans have survived lightning strikes. If anything, you should be questioning the integrity of the **ground** they are standing on, which should not be damaged to the extent that it is. Btw, the one piece world is much, much larger than Earth, and obviously of a different composition with different sorts of molecules and elements. Most major islands in one piece are around 4k kilometers from one end to the other, and it's stated later in the show that there are around fifteen to twenty MILLION islands of varying sizes. The one piece world is a super-earth on par with the size of Jupiter, so it can be argued that natural lightning strikes on such a planet might be significantly more powerful than on earth due to the likely higher atmospheric pressure and gravity, as well as the size. Enel is not that powerful, he's just a logia fruit user. Logia fruits are those like Smoker, Ace, Crocodile and Enel. Fruits that turn the user's body into some element without solid form.
