I'm glad the show stuck to the book and didn't let Cressida take over Whistledown. That would have been terrible, even though it's understandable that Cressida is in a difficult situation. Pen should get the credit for her writing. She should deal with the consequences but also get the recognition of her achievement.

I just find it too silly that a wise and clever woman like her would hold a grudge toward her brother about something he did when he was only a child. She even makes assumptions about what kind of adult he is, based on that mistake. All her adulthood she was angry at him and in all these decades she never had come to the realization that her brother as a child probably didn't know what he had done. It just makes no sense to me and I wish the writers would have come up with a better reason for their feud.

I think you guys are the only ones who truly see Colin and allow and accept his sensitivities and emotions. So many reactors hate Colin and call him a baby and a wimp and say he should just get over it. I think it is so sad that we won't allow for men to have complicated feelings and to give them grace for being sensitive. I also felt the same way, thinking that Colin has been so upfront and honest with Pen and now she has put him in a horrendous position by forcing him to either keep a secret that could ruin his family or ruin his wife's life. In the first two seasons I felt like Colin didn't really deserve Pen, but now I feel like Pen doesn't deserve Colin. I also think the show focused more on Pen's feelings rather than Colin's, and I also hope they have Pen do something to show Colin that she is sorry and wants to make amends. Pen still hasn't really taken accountability for the damage and hurt she has caused to everyone, especially her husband. But we shall see! Overall, I still love this season and think this may be my favorite season so far. I think there are actual stakes to this season that have been brewing for years and that it is showing that a relationship is hard work on both sides and that love can really grow and mature and allow for oneself to truly find themselves in each other, not just a couple of people whose lust eventually turns into love....which is what I felt in S1 & S2.
