Though it may not seem like it from reading my comments on your Patreon, but **I also want you to keep being true in your reactions even if your takes are L occasionally**.
I would just prefer if the opinions were grounded in what **actually happened** on screen and in the story, rather than based off of half remembered, misread, or misinterpretations of what happened, which has been the case with the majority of the big issues you've had.
For instance:
- Not noticing for the entire flashback that the Shandarans **always had the wings**,
- losing it over the doctor from 400 years ago having hypodermic needles
- But forgetting the practically modern-day medicine on Drum island which was historically famous for its advanced medical science.
- As well as forgetting that many islands in the Grand Line are isolated and evolve/develop independent from much of the rest of the world, as they explained in Little Garden. The One Piece world practically screams 'Breakaway Civilizations start here'.
- Not realizing that Enels attacks are within the theoretical range of survivability for even a normal human like you or me.
- Acknowledging the superhuman status of the StrawHat crew, but constantly griping over similarly superpowered individuals not dying from things that kill regular humans.
- This despite the show beating you relentlessly over the head with how sturdy the denizens of the world are, and in particular with how sturdy Devil Fruit users are.
- And other issues.
And yes, I refuse to leap ahead and see if you've retroactively realized any of this, thus the many comments. Trying to ensure you actually read them.

Hell yeah... keep being true in your reactions. We're on the journey together. Obviously we'll disagree sometimes. But we should all get together and dance with some wolves around the campfire anyway : )

One thing that I think is important to you for the near future. A lot of people will recommend the next filler arc. The arc is great but can slow One Piece down a lot. This can be very frustrating as the beginning of the next arc can also be very slow due to the pacing. I would therefore skip the G5 filler and maybe watch it later.

I do have my critiques in the OP series but, uh, you got a few arcs before I get upsetti spaghetti, and I get over it fast.

Your critiques, for the MOST part, are critiques most of the fanbase has. Skypeia is actually quite hated. Now, I don't agree, I adore it, but I never liked One Piece from an anime fan standpoint; I love it from a literary standpoint. And it actually turns out to be a VERY important arc, it's just... long in the anime.

In my opinion culture is an idea preserved by buildings, architecture, word of mouth traditions and art, to be remembered by when the people of that culture are gone, but there are people still here, as long as they are here, people can still rebuild and preserve that culture, and that is how you maintain a war for 100s of years 😀

We'll keep watching. We all know greatness is coming.
On another note, I started watching One Piece when Skypea was coming out. While I quickly fell in love with the characters, specially Nami's and Chopper's back stories, I did find Alabasta and Skypea to drag at certain points, but I watched a lot of anime back in that era, and this was just a fact of anime that you get used to and accept. For those that aren't anime dorks like I was it was definitely more painful to sit through.
The gears are gonna shift though. The things that you particularly like about the show will take center stage, and the story will go in directions you never could have imagined.
