Was Preservation a good God? It's pretty arguable, he only wants to preserve, human happiness and his own morality weren't part of the equation.

You also seem to think the death of the Highprince and the bodyguards defending Dalinar was nothing too. I can see it... though considering this is the start of the story, you can't have growth without them living through their challenges.

2024-09-26 08:20:50 +0000 UTCDon't know if you have been told elsewhere, but Szeths "death" scene is actually different in newer editions of the book, instead of being killed by the shardblade he is killed by the storm.
