Yah, Laral is a fascinating character. I don't know if its intended by Brandon, but I think she is a pretty good picture of someone who hasn't broken from her own privileged perspective and then weaponizes that privilege and her legitimate suffering to hurt others.

For Lirin I think it counts as selfish if you are doing things for people you like which they would not want you to do. (also in a lot of Robin Hood versions he does not give what he steals away)
