I love this series and have been rewatching it repeatedly lately.
The main frustration I have with the Hashiras is a technical issue. They are based on the traditional Samurai way, not our modern structured systems. The Hashiras only act cooperatively when ordered by the master to do so. They only train those who they want to succeed them as Hashiras. We don't see them training the lower rank demon slayers any techniques. Tanjero is lucky to have learned of total concentration constant.
After rewatching season 1 before this movie, I realized he was basically thrown to the wolves (demons) and only survived cuz he was trained by a former Hashira.
We see that he never was even told about the setup of the demon slayer corps when he is brought before all of them.
I think this series is meant to celebrate the Samurai way. The demon slayers are spread so thin and operate independently, except when ordered to cooperate or when necessary to survive. They never mention the emperor or the government except to remind us that they are outside the official system.
Thank you to anyone who reads this rant. It's been on my mind for a while now, and wasn't sure where a good place to post it was.

Whether or not you like the arc, the entire fight was incredibly animated and you can see why they made it a movie. It's just one long flowing time period. It's perfect for it.
