I didn't know of D&D back when I first watched these eps as a kid, but man, One Piece is just one big D&D game huh? The shenanigans they pull XD

2024-11-17 23:00:00 +0000 UTCYou have entered into a realm where the intro animation and intro song you're going to see on the screen is NOT what it's supposed to be. And it's going to be like this for a long time. It's all a tangled web of licensing rights. "Crazy Rainbow" is the correct intro song and animation for episodes 284-325, but Crunchyroll did not pay for the rights to "Crazy Rainbow", so it will never appear on the subtitled episodes. If you want to listen to the correct intro, you can either (A) watch it on Netflix; (B) watch the English dub on Crunchyroll (at least long enough to watch the Intro); or (C) look up "One Piece Crazy Rainbow" on YouTube. (Funimation paid for the rights to the songs, which is why they show up on the dub but not the sub. And Netflix paid for the rights so they show up on the Netflix version.)
