He did it during the fight with Usopp already and now again because Zoro is all about honour. Luffy needs Zoro to give him a reality check because he's too carefree and doesn't consider things like this. Nami has never cared about honor and only acts according to her emotions when it comes to people and not about how things should be done. But when it's about business/money and managing the ship, she will be the one to take charge. So Zoro and Nami do a great job in assisting Luffy in these areas, where he is completely clueless, even though it's supposed to be his job as a captain.
