2025-02-12 04:32:50 +0000 UTCThe manga chapters are short sometimes so the pacing is the padding the anime has to do to fill in the time. I don't think there is just enough source material to fill out each anime episode, hence why the pacing sucks sometimes in OP anime.

And yes, the stronger the dead body is combined with the strength of the shadow, the stronger the zombie. So you can imagine the strength this Oz zombie will have, once he gets Luffy's shadow.

Ultimately, you need a lot of patience with how Toei handled the situation of not wanting to get too close to the manga.
