I agree with you, but Mon Mothma doesn't represent the left. She is against the fascist government, but she still represents the establishment.

Maybe Strange New Worlds? A new season is coming very soon.

I'm a civil rights attorney in the US and it is surreal to experience all this happening in real time. It actually makes watching shows like Andor very difficult. Not to mix franchises but in the Sixties and late Eighties, Star Trek envisioned a society that had solved many of its problems. By the 23rd Century, humanity had grown and that ideal in TOS and TNG provided inspiration in very bleak periods of the Cold War. The original trilogy did the same with the light side of the Force overcoming the dark side. Neither series is providing that hopefulness now and I'm not aware of anything stepping into that void. Instead, it seems like all our cultural touchstones are telling us things will always be this way regardless of what anyone does. It's all very bleak. It can be very well-written and well-produced but none of it is very uplifting. It feels like we've inoculated ourselves to being inspired.
I could be wrong. Maybe I'm just missing it. If anyone can recommend some hopeful sci-fi, please do. I could use it.
