Welcome to my first poll on Patreon! Today I want to figure out which of these 'cosplays' I'll bring forward and create a complete versions. Each of these images were created on the civitai.com website. Whichever character wins, I'll create a new image on the dream machine here in my lair. Here are the characters:
Taarna from Heavy Metal (1981)
Princess Leia in 'Slavekini' Outfit from Return of the Jedi (1983)
The Baroness from G. I. Joe (1982)
Cheetara from Thundercats (1985)
I'll likely do each of them, but I need a place to start and I wanted to include you all in the process. The second post will have the actual poll. I appreciate your input!

That's great to hear. Glad I picked some good options to start out. Taarna is a great pick and it looks like she is leading. I recently rewatched the end potion of Heavy Metal just for Taarna. It's so brutal - I love it!

And I think I know the model you're talking about, or one that's similar at least. BetterWaifu has T-ponynai3 v6.5 as one of the available models, although I mostly gravitate toward DucHaiten and DucHaiten Real... Which... By the way... Have no earthly clue who Jana of the Jungle is, but damn me if they don't put out a very consistent character who's absolutely gorgeous.

2025-02-06 14:52:27 +0000 UTCHere's the quick and dirty - Models contain the main datasets, I use an offshoot of a popular Stable Diffusion called Pony Diffusion. I have another post planned for more on this and the civitai.com website - I digress - so models have datasets and the LORA are just plug-in mini data sets for characters, clothing, style, better hands, better eyes, poses, etc.

I've just been plugging prompts into NovelAI and BetterWaifu for the last two years and I'm still not clear on what they are or how I'd use them? I googled "LoRA" after Frosty mentioned the gun, but it's all gibberish to me. Is it just like a zip file of images to train the model on? Like in Frosty's example it'd be that type of gun from all different angles?

I'm only a little younger but I was heavily influenced by the timing of the VHS revolution and getting to see stuff like Heavy Metal, Animated Lord of the Rings, Star Wars. Jana of the Jungle is a babe. She's got that Hanna-Barbera outfit. I'm also a fan of Princess Ariel from Thundarr I hope to do a 'cosplay' of her. I'm sure Jana wouldn't be too hard, but sticking to characters I have LORA for - for now.
