Disney Animatronics - Chapter Five

The final chapter of Disney Animatronics: A Living History. This ended up being our longest video yet. I hope you enjoy the end. Please let me know if you find any mistake/errors.

Disney Animatronics - Chapter Five

Comments

No notes, love the intriguing creepiness and can't wait to see the final product.

Dr. Rivs

That ending line. Chilling. And a wonderful section to close out part 1. As soon as Babbage was mentioned, I knew where this was going. Lovely to see that there was a connection between him and the automata of his era. Had no idea that the history of audio-animatronics could be so compelling, but then again, I didn’t know that about FastPass at first either. You have a gift, my friend. Can’t wait to see the full video and to see part 2 as it materializes here. Excellent work.

Mr. Obligatory

Perfect closing line! I also love the thought that there is a limited amount of time to prevent the thought that something is new and something has always been (sorry I’m paraphrasing). The next click after that is nostalgia and wishing for how things were perceived to have been which brings its own set of highs and lows.

Meg Fig

Incredible, can't wait to watch it all again when it officially releases!

Half Homie

Putting my English degree to use here 0:02: Apostrophe is sans serif 0:06: Hyphen should be a dash (like when you type a double hyphen in MS Word) 2:30: Hyphen to dash 4:19 First quote is in serif marks, second sans serif 5:30: Starts in serif, ends in sans serif, hyphen should be a dash. No attribution dash next to Bradbury's name 5:41: Starts sans serif, ends in serif, no attribution dash 5:57: Serif, then sans serif 6:19, 6:23: Same deal with serifs 7:05: Missing end quotation mark

Catherine Tinker

Love the ominous ending! The only comments I have are the same as I and others have mentioned on the other parts (inconsistencies in the attributions for quotes, some with hyphens and some without; the use of serif vs. sans-serif quotation marks). You and your team have done an incredible job overall, and it’s such a treat to get to see this early!

Michelle Plitnikas

That ending goes so freaking hard, well done
