The comic The Depths moves to a new Patreon.

Hi everyone!

First of all, don't worry. The Depths will still be a regular comic that will be posted on DarkBlueComics each month as always. I'll still sketch it, KinoJaggernov will still ink it and color it and of course Leilani will still write it. The only difference is that, if you want to support the creation of the comic The Depths and receive rewards related to it, you'll have to do it in the new Patreon Leilani has created specifically for it. Of course, my patreon account of the DarkBlueWorkshop will remain, to keep supporting the creation of the comics Moonlace and Bethellium. 

Why did we decide to do this?

The main reason, although not the only one, is because for me, taking care of multiple projects at the same time has been way more tiring and stressful that what I hoped at first and what I can endure. As you can imagine, my little boy requires lot of my time and attention at home. Add to that, that each project has it's own challenges and need special care put into each of it so high quality is kept. And sometimes, real life and all the other professional work I do all the time (commissions, videogame artwork, alternative projects, etc.) don't allow me much time to spare. So, dividing the amount of work, allows us to give more time for each project and give it the love it deserves. And it will keep me away from going crazy, hehe.

Secondly, and also very important, is that The Depths is mainly Leilani's project and idea. She has been working with the main character Leilani for years and years, pretty much all her life and way before I got to know her. So there's no one better in the world to take care of the comic The Depths with all the potential it has. She'll bring the project to greater lengths and at the same time, she's allowing me to focus on my own projects for betterment of both.

As a third reason, there's also that Leilani being a writer, can think of new ways to bring rewards to The Depths audience that fit better their tastes and interests .

So, if you truly enjoy reading the comic The Depths, and want to keep supporting it's creation, please check out Leilani's patreon and pledge to it. Me and Leilani both agreed to it, so if anyone wants to split their support or even retrieve it from this patreon to pledge to hers, you're welcome to do it. We both believe in being honest and we wanted you all to know that this will happen, so you can freely and without pressure decide what you want to do. There will be no harsh feelings against anyone at all.

On my side, the rewards for my patrons will remain the same, but the milestones will change to adapt to this new setup. Meaning that for the same level of earnings, there will be more frequent updates of my comics Moonlace and Bethellium. I'm also planning on making a regular comic out of C-chan's a Catgirl! plus other additional benefits for being my patron that will start very soon. There will be plenty of fun to be had here too!
