Just sharing a new way to do lighting... Thanks Ice!
Added 2022-11-21 02:01:57 +0000 UTCI had to share this. The only difference is that the lighting makes the room better, and the shadows more visible. It also brings out the true colors in the images. The bad part... takes longer to render than normal (my speed of rendering is 12 minutes for each HD image most of the time, this one took 32 minutes... But I think it's worth it :)

2022-11-21 20:15:16 +0000 UTCone other tip..if the characters skin is too dark if you have low light in the scene you can lighten it up by decreasing the translucency weight in the surfaces tab..just select skin or skin lips and nails..usually it is set to 0.5..set it to 0.2..this helps with low light only...and i agree..this ligh rig with its more cold color temp really brings out the best colors..the yellowish tone is gone.

2022-11-21 13:37:59 +0000 UTCto get the character to really pop the ideal lighting is one key light (main light) to the left or right then one light from the side behind...you can also add one overhead center..but remember that one light should always be the dominating light..usally the key light on the sides..good luck! :)
