3. The Devil You Feed

In this episode Severus and his "houseguest" settle into a new routine. As trust builds, he offers her small freedoms and begins to believe she may be coming to terms with her captivity. But one act of desperation shatters the illusion of peace and forces him to confront not just her lies but also the brutal truth of what has been lurking deep inside him.

This episode contains potentially triggering themes like emotional and physical violence and worse. Severus is definitely not the protector he usually strives to be, but keep in mind that he finds himself at a breaking point. As Hussy said: A man must first sin in order to be redeemed. About the Title:
The Devil You Feed is a nod to the parable of two wolves. One light and one dark and the idea that the one who grows strongest is the one you choose to feed. In this episode, Severus definitely feeds the dark one and will have to contend with the fallout.
