ep12 preview // the end of an era

Well... I was planning to split THIS episode into 2, of which the above would be the first half... Turns out also this episode is not really dividable, as it's all about wrapping up business in the old base to prepare for building the NEW base...

What's still missing? Well, the major part is building a 480MW, 100% fuel efficient, 4-core nuclear reactor! to replace the ol' 36MW steam engine setup! From personal experience (my several failed attempts over the years), it's not the easiest feat to achieve, so instead of just mentioning it and plopping it down, I decided to go the full distance and explain how and why it works in a hopefully fun and non-dry way. For thís specific section though, properly scripting it was probably harder than the editing will be... Anyway, after that we need to blow off some steam ourselves... This whole thing should add another 15 minutes or so to the above video.

So again a 30+min episode... (most of) you like longer episodes, the YT algorithm seems to prefer them, and quite frankly -I- like them better than the short ones as well... Unfortunately double-length episodes naturally take twice as long to make, so I might have to give up on the weekly youtube release...

Anyway since early access probably is the most important benefit for most of you, I WILL post weekly updates on Patreon like the above, and though incomplete, the completed parts will be the final version for the final full episode (so including everything, including the final sound-balancing), meaning you won't miss a thing if you skip over it in the final episode.
