About the request system
Added 2017-05-27 19:00:32 +0000 UTCI'm thinking if I should close request tier and start taking commissions or making dojin or something or not. Actually, I have thought about it several times. I've thought this system is affordable. but it seems some people don't think so.And I can understand the reason.
Actually, whichever is ok for me.
Please feel free to tell me your honest opinion.

I'm patient, but others are not so much. People like you a lot, so I hope that will not be a problem for them.

2017-05-29 22:26:29 +0000 UTCI would love to see more Pretty Melt and whatever else you come up with :)
2017-05-29 15:16:19 +0000 UTCHmmm... I've seen a few people have a commission spot on patreon where someone takes a commission pledge and they write what they want in a commission pledge board. But at this point, I'm brainstorming.

2017-05-29 07:55:09 +0000 UTCGot it! but I can't take many and don't want to make people wait... that's also difficult
Uru
2017-05-29 07:55:00 +0000 UTCDifficult thing is, how should I take commissions. At leeast I think I should do it in the presence of the public, not in like skype chat.

2017-05-29 07:51:32 +0000 UTChmm~ but I need to do many thing so it's kinda hard to do both... I think I kind of want to draw dojins more than taking commisssions probably if I quit taking requests.

2017-05-29 07:36:40 +0000 UTCKeep up the good work :)

2017-05-29 04:03:08 +0000 UTCKeep it up please. I want a commission from you when I have the chance.

2017-05-29 01:41:02 +0000 UTCI've been thinking of asking you for a commission, but not sure if you were open. if you had a commission spot open on patreon, I'd actually consider it and switch to it when available.

2017-05-28 17:58:28 +0000 UTCI could see it from either side, but not too long ago I bumped myself up to a request tier of a month because I could afford it then and dropped back after. I feel I got more than I deserved though, since I requested the Mamori accidental vore scene that got added to the game, but I also realized and accepted that my request may not have gotten chosen that month. So long as you don't work yourself to death and have the time, maybe think about taking a couple commission every now and then? My main, admittedly selfish, concern is whether we'd get to see them as well lol
2017-05-28 13:07:19 +0000 UTCOfcourse they won't have any complaint since it's a system alot more favor their convenience. What it matters is you, the Creator. But if you are okay with it, then it's an okay matter obviously.

2017-05-28 09:05:35 +0000 UTCI don't complain about patreon's system actually. I believe most of my patrons so. I just explained it because I don't want everyone to think like I'm getting too much income for what I actually do. Thank you for the opinion!
Uru
2017-05-28 07:37:48 +0000 UTCThis patreon really need to revise it's payment system and make people pay upfront like Enty. I don't even understand why they kept at this stupid payment method. Anyway, if you can remember little 'incident' last month than you can probably say that I'll support your commission model far more than current one. So if you think expected income suffer from those two tier is acceptable(since you said only 4 of them are active. geez...), then I'd say 'Plz change to commission'. But think carefully, though. Income is really important thing nonetheless. I'll keep support you whatever you choose :)

2017-05-28 05:27:17 +0000 UTCThank you~ yeah it's hard, haha.

2017-05-28 04:46:12 +0000 UTCI guess some people might think like I've been getting bunch of excessive profit from request tier. But as I said above, confirming on patron manager (function on patreon) many people on that tier have just got away with the payment(Of course, I know patrons who sincerely support me on the tiers. I appreciate for that)
Uru
2017-05-28 04:43:36 +0000 UTCYeah I kind of think so too.~ But I cannot decide now so I will continue this system at least next month. I'll reconsider the how the system should be
Uru
2017-05-28 04:22:14 +0000 UTCThank you~! Yeah I have also liked the idea because I've thought everyone get satisfied with it...
Uru
2017-05-28 04:20:44 +0000 UTCThank you! I've also liked this system because I always have some room for creativity comparing to commissions. but I have also thought it's kinda complex...
Uru
2017-05-28 04:09:35 +0000 UTCI do understand how hard it is to make a game, especially with few people. Other games have entire teams to help development.
2017-05-28 04:09:30 +0000 UTCYeah, I do think most people are here for Size Matters since the most patrons you have are for $5.
2017-05-28 04:08:24 +0000 UTCIt might be a good idea to switch to commissions. Maybe it will give you more time to spend on game updates, which I think is your most popular project.

2017-05-28 02:01:43 +0000 UTCI mean I kind of like how the tiers are. If you want to pay more, you receive more rewards, I feel it is fair. Art is worth a lot more than people think.
2017-05-28 00:56:40 +0000 UTCI'm just one of the $5 patrons, and I don't think I'll ever be able to afford the $30 and $50 tiers, but I have really liked a lot of the ideas and pics that have come out of that system.
2017-05-27 22:36:07 +0000 UTCyeah like two characters or extra windows or manga type... haven't fixed the price though
Uru
2017-05-27 20:50:57 +0000 UTCThank you~, Yeah~ I want to choose the way what makes me and everyone happy!
Uru
2017-05-27 20:48:55 +0000 UTCWould there be a list of different types commissions and cost like no background for lesser and more characters will cost more etc?
aad
2017-05-27 20:42:05 +0000 UTCHaha, the thing is, like only 4 people are active on $50 tier so not that big deal about the income actually. thank you for your opinion!
Uru
2017-05-27 20:39:41 +0000 UTCWhat I said on the other post, you should definitely do what makes you happy. I think the $30 tier is a good option, but so are commissions. If you don't have time to do both, that's okay. I feel like you really prefer to draw your own ideas so maybe you should stick to the requests after all? It's up to you. Me personally, I would love to commission you. But not at your expense and the expense of others that enjoy paying $30 for monthly requests.

2017-05-27 20:20:47 +0000 UTCWe've been discussing it over IM but I've been trying to see both sides there, if you want my totally honest opinion I'd love to be able to get a full, well drawn commission from you sometime. The only thing that'd worry me would be that you'd most likely have a greatly reduced income if you completely scrapped the request tiers, but if you think you can handle it then I'd definitely say take commissions again.
2017-05-27 20:20:33 +0000 UTCA full color picture with back ground would be $100
Uru
2017-05-27 19:42:26 +0000 UTCNo~ just erase them from the list. And use the spare time for re-starting taking commissions or making dojins or something
Uru
2017-05-27 19:37:16 +0000 UTCHow much would commissions cost? O.o
Snafukurikai
2017-05-27 19:32:22 +0000 UTCWell as someone who personally doesn't pay for that tier but was planning on doing it once I got a better paying job, do you plan on replacing it with something else?
