Indestructible Biter Bases ep3 Full - Fiery Fire Flows Foreboding Flying Friends (Fee For Fendetta)
Added 2023-04-28 07:01:00 +0000 UTCOkay, the title is a little cringy, but I DO use the F-word(s) a lot in this Fideo. If you're old like me, you may remember the movie V for Vendetta, which sort of is the hidden reference for this thing. Meh, mediocre at best, but regardless of the title, I'm quite happy with how the actual episode turned out.
Also, behind the scenes I'm working on yet another low-effort project to break up the grind, it's about beating one of those tough bare desert deathworlds WITHOUT relying on the OP flamethrowers for once, to see if the Factorio "economics" will break (aka will making ammo to defend your base attract more attacking biters than the ammo can take out at some point. Spoiler alert (spreadsheets were made and will be shared with the video), there are situations at which this occurs, and the cost to defend in general is pretty insane when you pay the "fair" price unlike I usually showcase (pack up and run away lol)). Not sure if it turns out to be youtubable material, if it isn't I will upload the partially edited/raw video here regardless.

Just wanted you to know that your videos have inspired me to keep trying deathworlds, despite how much I suck at combat, especially when using wheeled or tracked vehicles. You make it look so easy to run around in a car and shoot up the biters. It's not so for me, but yet I persist.
