Although their sea-faring nations are separated by oceans, the Queen and the Chief instantly saw potential, mutual benefits upon their first meeting. They wisely sequestered themselves from other, more self-interested factions of their respective retinues, and chose to conduct their summit in a more relaxed setting. There, far from prying eyes, the Chief and the Queen took the extraordinary step of exposing themselves, and revealing their vulnerabilities, on their way toward establishing trust and opening up the lines of communication between them.
