i kinda like the perception that Monique tagged along mainly to try and prevent other girls getting ahold of 'her' kimmie- shows the same selfish attitude she had in the original series, even if she's changed somewhat for the better to include kim in that attitude. Like, she wants the best for her, but since she thinks she herself is the best, she dislikes seeing kim with other girls, as it makes her question herself, because if kim wants to be with other ladies, does that mean she's not enough for her? that she's somehow lacking compared to them? This insecurity in herself clashes nicely with her deep affections for kim, driving her to tag along to try and avoid her deepest fears coming true, or at least make certain that kim is recognised as being 'hers'. Bon-bon gonna have the learn to share however- kim's too much for any one woman to handle
