Agreed. I have a Signal app and Molly app on the same profile, one with my own number, one with VoIP (for strangers). About the anonymity of phone service, I don't think we're there, and we may never be, but that's the beauty of VoIP: It moves all the data from a cell tower you cannot control (you cannot make your own cell network) and moves it to the TCP/IP, where things can be homebrewed easier.

2023-03-23 13:44:21 +0000 UTCYou can set up voip with signal. I’ve been able to do that. I like your analogy of voip being like a vpn. I do find voip helps with spam, and works with some sms 2FA. MySudo seems to have good policy in that they purge your sms or emails with 24 hours once you delete them, and this is much better than regular sms. I’d be curious if at some point you can talk about what to do once you have a new cellular service that is anonymous, because it seems like the anonymity is lost via cell tower triangulations

2023-03-21 18:15:05 +0000 UTCYou should write the sitename of that seenot.me something you talked about there you can obtain VOIP numbers. I have listened over and over again to trie and hear what you say and search for it but get it wrong every time so I'm not finding it.

2023-03-21 18:10:41 +0000 UTCThat's a pretty good plan. Your exposure will be vastly limited. Compartmentalize what you can. That will help.
